- I'm a Portland, Oregon, resident and I've been painting since retirement from the navy in 1994. Thanks to an understanding wife with a great sense of humor, I've been chasing the dream of being an artist with all of it's joy, struggle, heartache and exhilaration instead of earning a living. My work can currently be found in the Rental/Sales Gallery of the Portland Art Museum and at Joanne Rollins Art of Framing, located in NW Portland.

I like this one a lot because the photo makes it seem like you are looking through a little window, and I like little windows, and I also like that you started putting dates on the paintings you publish. And oh yeah I like the actual painting itself too!
