We were lucky to meet Charlie when we lived in the same apartment building. He's in his nineties now, devoting each day to collecting, repairing as necessary and distributing all manner of items donated by citizens of Portland to those in need. He's a Humanitarian and a gentleman who has enriched the lives of thousands and truly makes a difference every day.
